As a teenager I was deeply moved by existential questions of “Who am I” and “Why am I here”? I knew on a fundamental level that my purpose in life was to answer these questions and to guide others on their journey HOME.  My personal journey began with the teachings of Thich Hnat Hnah and the Insight Meditation community in New York and later in California.  I studied with several teachers in the Vipassana tradition until I met my Tibetan Buddhist Dzogchen teachers and have completed dozens of personal retreats over a 30 year period.  In addition to the Nondual path of Dzogchen, I have studied and practiced in the Advaita Vedanta tradition in particular the Direct path of Ramana Maharshi and currently with Rupert Spira.

While deepening my own inner journey of stabilizing pure consciousness, I have been a Nondual psychotherapist for 30 years. I have spent my time exploring and integrating the Nondual traditions into the therapy space.  In addition, I have been trained in somatic and trauma therapy providing the best of contemporary approaches with the wisdom teachings of the East.   My somatic training started with becoming certified as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist in which yoga and psychotherapy are integrated.   I continued my training in somatic approaches for supporting nondual awareness by completing my own training in Tsa Lung. Currently, I am in a teacher training program to become a Tsa Lung teacher after which I will be able to integrate breath, movement, and healing into the therapy space.  I am also hold an advanced certification as a yoga and meditation instructor.

On my journey, I realized that in order to help access and stabilize nondual awareness shadow work and clearing away of stagnant somatic energy is essential.  In this realization, I pursued my training in EMDR therapy which has become the number modality for treating trauma.  I completed my initial training in 2015 and then completed my advanced training in 2016 after which I have used EMDR with everyone no matter what the initial issues.  Most recently, I have started training in the Realization Process with Judith Blackstone in which I am studying and practicing methods to directly and swiftly experience our true nature.  I hold a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Marriage and Couples Counseling, and attended the California Institute  of Integral Studies for four years specializing in East-West psychology.

My entire life has been dedicated to my own Awakening and to the support of others: I am devoted, dedicated, and passionate in assisting you in realizing WHO YOU ARE….

About the Nondual Approach

At the heart of all of my life is the path of stabilizing the embodied experience of Nondual Awareness as taught in Dzogchen and Advaita Vedanta traditions. From the moment I meet a person seeking support on their journey, we begin by attuning to the spacious and present qualities of being.  Every moment and interaction from there on is the ongoing journey of accessing and  stabilizing Nondual Awareness.  Nondual Awareness, Rigpa, Fundamental Consciousness, Pure Awareness, True Nature, are all names for the same underlying structure of WHO WE ARE and my aspiration and dedication is to guide others to BE...
